Why onm earth would anyone wear light blue eyeshadow?

Unless htey're wearing purple lipstick (I only know of one person who wears purple lipstick out of my school of 1400) they look like a clown. The vast majority of eyeshadow colors most people can pull off, but I have never seen a person pull of light blue well. I don't get why anyone would try.
