Christians: How many times a day do you pray?

Not as often as I feel that I should, though I might say that if I spent every waking moment in prayer. To directly answer your question, I don't pray that much. I might say an occasional prayer for forgiveness and/or thanks. I rarely entreat the Lord for much. I feel that I have nearly everything that I need in this life, and I prefer not to make a habit of praying just for the sake of reciting a few verses that someone told me to recite. I may say a prayer once a day or once every other day. I try to be careful of praying out of want, unless I am in a desperate situation. I do not see God as a cosmic genie who should grant my wishes.
