Who else here that is a CHRISTIAN gets a chilled feeling inside them while SEEKING god!?

That was simply Jesus' way of letting you know he was right there with you . The scripture says he stands at the door and knocks. If anyone should answer the door.... you know the rest. The second you accepted Christ you received the "HOLY SPIRIT". The Holy Spirit was what you were feeling. I had a similar occurrance when I accepted Christ back in 1981. I was kneeling at my bed asking Jesus to be my Lord and Shepard and immediately I felt a hand on the back of my head pushing my chin towards my chest! I hoped up immediately thinking one of my roomates was home and had snuck up behind me to startle me. But no one was there. The hair on my head and my arms was sticking straight up as though I had static in my body. After about two minutes of trying to compose myself, I went back to the bed kneeling and started to finish what I had started. Immediately, I felt this hand on the back of my head pushing my chin to my chest as I was praying. This time not as startled and feeling a little more confident about what was going on; I pushed back against the hand with my head in an attempt to bring my head up. What happened next I will never forget all of my days. The hand pushed my head down again and this time I could not raise my head with all my might! Tears started to well up and I knew that I was truly saved! I hear accounts such as yours and mine all the time. They vary. For example, one man I know accepted Christ on the hood of his car by a lake and a dove flew straight at him and hovered in front of his face six inches away then flew off. It is different for each person and all I can gather is that God creates the experience in such a way that is best suited for the person he created who is accepting him.
